About the Central City Roundtable

The Central City Roundtable is a group of civic leaders working to support the  recovery and long-term health of Portland’s Central City. The Roundtable brings together leaders from business, real estate, arts and culture, education, philanthropy, and community institutions to stay aligned on what matters most and where collective action can make a difference.

The Roundtable was formed to carry forward the vision and 2030 goals outlined in All In on Central City, the report developed through the Governor’s Central City Task Force in 2025. The focus is on implementation: keeping attention on the agreed priorities and helping move the work forward.

What the Roundtable Does

The Roundtable serves three primary functions:

1

STEWARD THE VISION AND TRACK PROGRESS

2

UNSTICK PRIORITY PROJECTS AND BUILD CIVIC INVESTMENT

3

SERVE AS A SOUNDING BOARD FOR THE MAYOR

The Roundtable provides candid feedback on Central City issues and helps assess trade-offs before major decisions are made.

Membership

Members are selected to ensure cross-sector representation and are expected to advocate for the Central City as a whole rather than individual interests.
